Who We Are

 

Hi there!

We are a group of UC Berkeley students who love God and want to share God’s love with our campus. We want to help others explore their questions about college, life and what it might be like to know God. Regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey, whether you believe God exists or not, we welcome you to investigate your beliefs and get plugged into this community.

Cru at Cal is the campus ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International, an interdenominational Christian movement active on over 1000 campuses in 191 countries around the world.

Here at UC Berkeley, we want to be a community who follows Jesus Christ and takes the gospel to the world.

We exist to help fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and our goal is to give every Cal student an opportunity to hear and respond to the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We love to help students discover how they can have a real and meaningful relationship with God.

We want to see students grow spiritually and experience changed lives because of what Christ has done for them. We hope to send students from Berkeley throughout the world as Christ-centered leaders for a lifetime. We offer Bible studies, a weekly meeting, training to communicate our faith effectively, community events, prayer meetings, retreats, conferences, and summer projects.

To get connected to Cru – consider joining a weekly Small Group, attending our Weekly Meetings on Thursday nights at 7:30 PM, or checking out our Calendar for our next Community Event. We hope to see you around at one of these opportunities sometime soon.
